Business Context
One shared node holds what the agent knows about your business: services, persona, tone, and the facts it is allowed to state. Every node in the workflow can draw on it, so you set this once rather than repeating it in each conversation step.
Change it here and the whole workflow follows.
What to put here
- What your business does, in plain language the agent can repeat accurately
- The persona and tone you want the agent to use
- Facts, policies or pricing the agent is allowed to state — and nothing it is not
- Anything every step of the call should be able to reference (so you do not repeat it in each conversation node)
Why it's separate from the conversation
Keeping business context in one place instead of copy-pasted into every node means:
- One edit, whole workflow updated. Change a fact once instead of hunting through every node that mentions it.
- Easier review. Someone who owns the business relationship can read this one node and confirm it is accurate, without reading the entire conversation flow.
- Fewer inconsistencies. The agent cannot describe the business one way in node 3 and a different way in node 7.
